Come hear David Rose speak about the intersection of technology, innovation, and business in improving health and wellness. His new venture, Vitality, is aiming to improve prescription drug adherence through their GlowCaps product, which transforms a regular pillbox into a wirelessly-connected, flashing device that reminds user to take their pills and uploads adherence information to a secured service to share progress with family and medical professionals. David will also speak about research his company is doing on incentives structures to speed adoption of using such technology.
David Rose is a technology visionary, serial entrepreneur and is CEO at Vitality, a company that is reinventing medication packaging. Previously, he was founder and CEO of Ambient Devices where he pioneered embedding Internet information in everyday objects like umbrellas, light bulbs, bathroom mirrors, and refrigerator doors, to make the physical environment an interface to digital information. He received Bachelor degrees in Physics and Fine Art from St. Olaf College and earned a Masters degree from Harvard University.
